ELKE SCHIMEK, Livingroom Estate Agents

Elke is a founding partner of Livingroom Estate Agents and Livinglife magazine. Born and educated in Guernsey, Elke found herself following a career in finance working for both private banks and specialist fiduciary houses. With a love of all things property, Elke opted to turn her passion into a new career and has forged a well respected reputation locally. After working for a local agency for a number of years, Elke left to start up Livingroom with fellow director, Simon Torode. This was now chance for Elke to merge her two main passions in life, property and design.

With an extensive knowledge of property, interior design, Guernsey and the financial markets, Elke is a tour de force for Livingroom's operations and development. 

Outside of work Elke enjoys cooking, interior design, gardening, walking, shopping, travelling and collecting shoes!

Elke’s favourite holiday destinations are Greece, The Far East, Portofino and France.
