Tuesday, 16 March 2021

This week, The Livingroom Foundation was proud to present the Guernsey Motor Neurone LBG with a cheque for £3,525 raised by donations from Livingroom property transactions in the island of Guernsey.

Livingroom Founder, CEO Simon Torode said: ‘I have witnessed dear friends and clients whose lives have been irrevocably changed by Motor Neurone Disease. To be able to make this contribution to a local charity that does so much to help is something that The Livingroom Foundation is proud to do - and each and every vendor has helped to make this happen.’

Kevin Trebert, Director and Treasurer of Guernsey Motor Neurone LBG, said: ‘On behalf of the committee, I would like to thank Livingroom Estate Agents for their generous donation. Most recently, we have purchased a Quantum Stretto Powerchair which has been specifically tailored to meet the requirements of one of our clients, and Livingroom’s funds will be specifically used towards the cost of this wheelchair. Thank you so much for your support and the difference you will make.’

The Guernsey Motor Neurone LBG charity offers care and support for people with Motor Neurone Disease and their carers and families living within the Bailiwick of Guernsey (Alderney, Sark, Herm). Their aim is to provide community support to the highest standard, to ensure that people affected by Motor Neurone feel secure and receive the care they need.

The Livingroom Foundation is a Guernsey Registered Charity/Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) established to make a difference to island life by supporting worthy causes with money donated by Livingroom Estate Agents from the commission raised by property transactions.
